FISH & HEART

My biggest flaw is that I think I can fit everything inside my head,

Memories, present pain, future uncertainty

Hopeless desires and big dreams

living between “what ifs” and “what could have been”

I'm still attached to every loss I have seen

The feeling of a childhood home and old songs

revolves inside

I have traveled a million miles inside this head

I'm tired now,

Can I rest my cluttered thoughts on my shoulder for a bit?
